Aimed at institutional investors, the virtual chat brought together around 150 participants, including fund managers, private bankers, professionals from the maritime and port sector, among others. This is the second webinar focused on the capital markets in which Wilson Sons participates – the previous participation was in the live broadcast of SaraInvest, an independent investment house.
The meeting was attended by Fernando Salek number database CEO of Wilson Sons, Cássio Schreider, CEO of Porto Itapoá, and was mediated by Roberto Dumke, Head of Research at Banco ABC Brasil. During the broadcast, the executives were able to present broad views on the market in a rich debate focusing on the influence of the international logistics scenario, to which Salek commented: “Despite the challenging global economic scenario, with inflation and high interest rates, Brazilian foreign trade continues strong. Our services that support the flow of trade have performed well.” Furthermore, during the Webinar, trends for the near future of the port sector.

The positive impacts of digital transformation and the strengthening of the sustainability agenda were discussed. “We need to continue evolving, creating a healthy sectoral environment from a competition point of view, which stimulates private investment and allows for efficiency gains over time. Open dialogue between public and private is important so that we can all move in the same direction. This is fundamental for the competitiveness of Brazilian foreign trade” concludes Salek.
