According to a survey carried out by the company Quero Educação, the faculty of nutrition is the eighth most sought after in Brazil, ahead of veterinary medicine and civil engineering, for example. Faculty of Nutrition In public and private universities, the nutrition course (bachelor's degree) lasts around four years, although there are also technical, technologist and postgraduate courses. What do you learn in nutrition college? According to the National Curricular Guidelines, defined by the Ministry of Education, the nutrition course must cover some specific areas, which has a certain relationship with how the MEC grade works.
For the faculty of nutrition, the areas to be covered are: Biological and Health Sciences Social, Human and Economic Sciences Food and Nutrition Sciences Food Sciences Considering local, cultural, economic and social characteristics, content is also introduced that addresses the physiological and nutritional processes of human beings, as well as the role of nutrition in preventing and combating a series of diseases.
