Grupo Formula is the leading company with more than 80 years of experience in the media industry, which is also the only one that offers multimedia coverage on radio, television, internet and outdoor channels. Being one of the most important companies in Mexico, it has publicly assumed a commitment to social responsibility (SR) and currently carries out strategic plans that contribute to sustainable development at the local and national level. In total, they have four axes of action in RS: Quality of life business ethics Link with the community Environment To achieve the goals established in each of these pillars, Grupo Formula knows that it needs to include and keep employees and managers, as well as the company's clients and suppliers, aware of its initiatives. One of the projects that was born precisely to integrate the entire work team in sustainability efforts and, at the same time, reduce the company's environmental footprint, is Grupo Formula's Annual Reforestation.
Formula Group Annual Reforestation In 2014, with the objective of generating a link with the community and the environment, and positively influencing the consciousness of employees, the corporate partnered with the organization Reforestamos México – which supports them in logistics, links with populations and training of volunteers – and the first Annual Jordan Mobile Number List Reforestation was carried out. The company published a public call to employees, encouraging them to invite their family and friends to participate. Likewise, it invited its strategic allies to join this activity. That year, Grupo Formula's Annual Reforestation brought together more than 400 people, who helped plant trees on three hectares of Nevado de Toluca. Added to this achievement was having helped generate jobs and sources of income for the residents of the area, who were able to sell their merchandise and products among the initiative's volunteers. From that moment on, year after year Grupo Formula's Annual Reforestation has been achieving success.
The project continued and 530 collaborators – twice as many as in 2014 – planted four thousand pine trees of the Hartwegii species in four hectares of the community of Zinacantepec in the State of Mexico, near the Nevado de Toluca. This second event was special since the corporate's foreign regions were invited and directors from Cuernavaca, Guadalajara and Monterrey attended. From 2015 to 2017, Grupo Formula began a three-year action plan that incorporated organic fertilization, fencing, surveillance, fire prevention and control. Grupo Formula's third Annual Reforestation was in 2016. This time, participants visited the hectares recovered last year to review the progress of the trees before continuing with the work of planting pine trees. In 2017, they went to Nevado for the last time and met the goal they had set at the beginning of the initiative four years ago: reforest around 20 hectares in the community. Having already surpassed its initial goal, the company decided to extend its reach to other places. For this reason, this 2018 he decided to go to the Arcos del Sitio, specifically to the “Sierra de Tepotzotlán” State Park in the State of Mexico.
